The hostess of the Room Magic product party also receives an additional 10 percent of the total sales from the party purchases to be applied towards the purchase of Room Magic products.

Complete the attached application form (Décor Cons Agrmt.pdf) and fax to 805-201-3115. Select whether you want to be a Decorating Consultant or In-Home Hostess.
Decorating Consultants
Decorating Consultants recruit the hostesses, and work with them to send invitations and arrange the party. They attend the party and give demonstrations on the products, and earn 15% percent of the total sales generated at the party.
They will order their sample kits from Room Magic, which cost $500 and include everything you need to get started:
Nightstand with reversible drawer fronts and knob kit Lamp
Comforter set
Headboard and finials kit
Party Invitations
Room Magic Catalogs
Sales Order forms
Product specs
The sales kit will be yours to use at all the parties you attend.
In Home Hostess
The Hostess will hold the Room Magic party. She will schedule the party date and place with the Decorating Consultant and then create the list of 20-25 friends, coworkers or family members and submit the names to the Consultant. She will submit these to Room Magic who will send custom invitations to the hostess to mail out.
She/he earns 10% of total sales generated at the party which is put toward the purchase of her/his own set of furniture. The Hostess can provide snacks and refreshments. She will not need to buy samples.
The Room Magic parties are intended to be fun, creative, and a great way to visit with other moms or dads and help decorate their childrens room. Hostesses can have all attendees fill out their names and addresses, and hold a drawing for a free gift at the end of the party.
No one is required to buy anything, however, hostesses can tell the guests that by purchasing an item, they are helping earn her own set of furniture.
After the party the Consultant collects the sales order forms and sends them to Room Magic to fill. Orders can be placed by credit card or check. The commissions will be calculated on total sales made at the party and checks are sent sent upon receipt of forms.
